Urban League Achievement Center Students Take First Place in Robotics Competition

 

 

On May 9, 2009, the Science Technology Engineering Manufacturing (STEM) Club, which is operated out of the Urban League Achievement Center at Weaver High School, took first place in the roller coaster division of the robotics competition for Connecticut’s Pre-Engineering Program (CPEP).  This event was part of CPEP Day at the Connecticut Convention Center. The STEM group works on projects related to Science Technology Engineering and Manufacturing.  The participants compete in robotics competitions and other technology-related events.
