Urban League of Greater Hartford (ULGH) will bring jobseekers and employers together at its 21st Annual Employment Empowerment Expo & Career Fair on Wednesday, May 12 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. This year, the free event will offer the option to attend virtually, or in-person at the Swift Factory on 10 Love Lane in Hartford’s North End. Advance registration is suggested.
“We want every job seeker – from entry level to experienced professional – to feel empowered to obtain equitable, secure, gainful employment in their desired job or industry,” explains David Hopkins, President and CEO of the Urban League of Greater Hartford, whose programs and operations impact more than 3,000 individuals and their families every year in the areas of youth development, adult education, workforce development, housing, health equity, and social justice.
