Housing and Finance

Helping families access affordable housing and build financial skills for long-term, self-reliant economic success.

The Urban League helps individuals and families build lasting stability through first-time homebuyer support, housing retention services, financial literacy education, and economic enrichment programs. From navigating the path to homeownership to strengthening money management skills, we provide the tools and guidance needed to create a secure financial future and thrive in today’s economy.

1st Homebuyer Preparation

Families considering home ownership for the first time
learn Urban League's nine steps to purchasing a home,
and receive one-on-one counseling sessions. These
individual sessions put an action plan in place to help
participants become successful in obtaining and
maintaining a home.
